STARVERT Energy and DEB enter into Partnership
STARVERT Energy GmbH has become a partner of the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB). The solution provider for solar parks and the DEB have entered into a partnership for a minimum of two years. STARVERT Energy can therefore call itself the official partner of the German Ice Hockey Federation and the German National Ice Hockey Team.
WIRCON becomes STARVERT Energy
WIRCON GmbH – a reliable and experienced partner with extensive expertise in the development, construction and operation of solar parks – is changing its company and brand name, to STARVERT Energy GmbH.
Solar park Valgenweg in Delfzijl opened festively
On 19th October 2023, the new solar park Valgenweg in Delfzijl was opened festively. The solar park is a successful joint project between the photovoltaic company WIRCON, who realised the solar park, and the landowner Groningen Seaports. The local energy corporations “Bronnen van ons” with its shareholders Eemsdelta Energiek and Windvogel are shareholders of the solar park as well and offer the opportunity that also local households in the province of Groningen can benefit from this renewable energy.
Axpo, Nobian und WIRCON sign long-term solar PPA in Netherlands
Axpo and leading industrial chemicals manufacturer Nobian have signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) in the Netherlands, the companies announced today. The PPA will see Axpo provide solar power to Nobian’s operations at Delfzijl from a facility developed by STARVERT Energy, a large and growing international solar energy developer.
Exploring the Diesen-Porcelette Solar Park
On 12th June 2023, the WIRCON team from Saarbrücken offered the public, local politicians and investors an insight into how the solar park in Diesen-Porcelette works.
Solar Parks in Terril Wendel and Diesen
The solar parks built on former coal heaps in Terril Wendel and Diesen-Porcelette not only produce more electricity than estimated; they are also making a lasting contribution to increasing the population of the green toad, which is a protected species in France. In 2022, electricity generation was 12 percent higher than estimated in Terril Wendel, and in Diesen-Porcelette, 14.5 percent higher.
